This blog is inspired by a new goal for this year (2013), which is to lose weight and feel great in my body. I have put this off for so long and am now determined to do something about it.

It’s not as bad as it sounds. I am healthy, I am not overweight in the sense of obese. I am in fairly good shape because I do yoga on a regular basis. But I am a lazy person and don’t get as much exercise in as I would like or know I should and I don’t always eat healthy or watch what I put in my mouth. So that’s really what I want to change most of all.

In addition I want to do something for me that makes me happy. Feeling fit and looking good make me happy, regardless of what someone else thinks. I have also found it very challenging to stick with a resolution for very long, to consistently do something every day, day in and day out. This will be a first for me for something like this.

I know if this plan goes well and I see amazing results, that it will inspire me to do other things too. I have a whole list, which I will share with you in the blog. For now, I’m happy to show my struggle or accomplishments with this Impossible Abs (I call it “Incredible Abs”) program, packaged/promoted by Joel Runyon of Impossible HQ here.

I am also hoping that I will inspire others who follow this blog. Let’s help each other. Health and happiness are so important. This is my only life and I want it to be the best life I can make it.
